If you can't get into MinyanLand, try these steps:

  1. Adjust Your Pop-up Blocker

    Click on the yellow bar at the top of your screen and adjust it to allow pop-ups from MinyanLand.

  2. Clear Your Cache

    This goes by different names depending on the Web browser you use.

    On Internet Explorer, the path to use is "Tools" > "Internet Options" > "Browser History" > "Delete Temporary Files."

    On Firefox, the path is "Tools" > "Options" > "Privacy" > Check box next to "Cache" > "Clear"

    On Safari, the path is "Safari" > "Preferences" > "Empty Cache"

    On AOL, the path is "Safety" > "Settings" > "Internet Properties" > "Clear My Footprints"

    On Netscape, the path is "Edit" > "Preferences" > "Advanced" > "Cache" > "Clear Memory Cache" > "Clear Disk Cache"

    Next, make sure your cache is clear by closing out of the browser and reopening it.

    Then try logging in to MinyanLand.

    If you still can't get in,

  3. Check Your Flash Player

    MinyanLand uses the latest version of Adobe Flash. You might be having trouble with your Flash player or need the newest edition of the software.

    Reinstall at the Adobe Flash Player Download Center.

  4. Adjust Your Personal Firewall

    Certain programs have a firewall that might prevent you from logging in. These include Windows XP and Vista and Mac OSX. You can adjust your firewall settings and allow inbound and outbound traffic from port 6112.

  5. Contact Your Internet Service Provider (ISP)

    The company connecting you to the Internet may have a firewall blocking the ports that lead to MinyanLand. Call and ask them to open port 6112 for TCP traffic, inbound and outbound.

If you cannot see all parts of the MinyanLand screen:

Adjust your Screen Resolution

On a PC, the path is right click on "Properties" > "Settings" > "Screen Resolution" > move bar to 1024 by 768 pixels or higher. > "OK"

On a Mac, the path is "System Preferences" > "Display" > "Resolutions"> Highlight 1024 by 768 pixels or higher.

Click here to reset your password.

Note: You can create more than one Critter on MinyanLand, but you can NEVER change your mind and try to mix their account balances. Each Critter is unique and has an individual home, balance and identity.
