We act in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not collect any personally identifiable information from users 12 years old and younger.

When you create a username and password on MinyanLand, we do not collect any information that would allow us or anyone else to identify you. When prompted to create a username, we recommend you use non-personally identifiable information. Your login information is only used in games and activities.
In almost all activities, the information we collect is non-personal (such as first name). We only collect enough information from our visitors to make activities on MinyanLand fun and interesting.
If you send us an e-mail with a question or comment, we will write back using your e-mail address, but we will not keep the address or use it again.
No one will be excluded from our site for not giving us personal information. When we do ask for personal information (like an e-mail address), we will only keep it until that particular activity is complete. We will not share this information with a third party.
For certain activities, we will ask for the parent or caregiver's e-mail address in order to get permission for the child to participate in certain MinyanLand activities.
We communicate with children through an internal newspaper and invite children to email us with ideas and creative writing and other work. For some activities such as online polls, we may ask user to provide non-personally identifiable information such as state of residence or favorite game.

As you visit minyanland.com, it is possible that several cookies* will be set on your computer. MINYANLAND uses the information from cookies to remember browser preferences and improve our visitors' experiences on the site. No personal information is ever stored in a MINYANLAND cookie, even if you have entered your name or e-mail address on other parts of MINYANLAND.
